Saying goodbye to 2010 means saying hello to 2011. If one of your New Year's resolutions is to use the best Mac poker sites, you are in luck because UBOC 6 is upon us. Included in 2011's UB Online Championship is a total of 29 events, all with guaranteed prize pools. There are 29 championship watches up for grabs, and if you won an event during UBOC 5, you will be invited to the Tournament of Champions! If you were planning on trying poker flash, there is no better time than now to give it a shot!

January 16th is when things kicked off with the No Limit Holdem Deep Stack event for $500+$30. Those that used a Full Tilt Poker referral code because they like Omaha better than Holdem were able to play UBOC's first PLO event yesterday. If you like heads-up, you have Event 13 to look forward to, but be sure to plan ahead because there is no late registration for this event.

For those with huge bankrolls, the High Roller tournament is on January 23rd for $2.1k. The Championship Event is on January 30th and features a $ 1,050 buy-in. If you have just started with online poker rooms and find that these stakes are way out of your bankroll, you can opt to play satellites. The satellites start as low as 10 cents!

Another solution for people that require a bit more free poker training is Mini-UBOC. Mini-UBOC has 19 events, too, but it features much smaller buy-ins. Obviously the prize pools will be much smaller as well, but first place in all the events will still be a handsome addition to your bankroll!

A lot of people have been waiting extremely impatiently for UBOC 6 to finally come around, so be sure to take advantage of it. If you are worried about having to download a new program, do not worry! Just like your favorite no download free casino sites, UB comes in Flash. Good luck and have fun!

UB is one of the best Mac poker sites for Omaha. They have a new Royal Flush promotion that works like a bad beat jackpot. There is a progressive Royal Flush Jackpot, and when someone hits a royal flush, they win 50% of the pot. Pretty cool way to reward someone for the most awesome hand in poker.

If you are familiar with a Lucky Ace Poker download, you might have tried playing on the bad beat jackpot tables. The loser of a bad beat wins 50% of the jackpot, and players dealt into the bad beat hand also win a percentage. The Royal Flush promo works in similar fashion. The person with the royal flush gets half the jackpot, the players that participated in the hand receive 25%, and the last 25% is divided amongst other people playing at Jackpot tables at the same limits. A promo like this gives players more opportunities to receive cash than at some of the other poker rooms!

Keep in mind that just 65% of the jackpot is given out when a royal flush is made. The remaining 25% and 10% go to the next Jackpot and UB administration respectively. People that prefer the Fulltiltpoker download might complain that UB keeps a tenth of the jackpot, but the folks at UB need to get paid somehow too!

To have a chance at the Jackpot, you need to receive hands at a Royal Flush Jackpot table. Flash Texas Holdem is available at UB, so you can try your luck in secret at work if you want. At these tables, $0.50 is collected every hand and placed into the Jackpot.

If you play online poker and are about to hit the Royal Flush tables, take note of a few conditions for winning the Jackpot. The hand had to involve at least four people, and the winning hand must be seen at show down. Players sitting out at the time of the royal flush hand are not eligible for any share of the prize pool. If there are two royal flushes dealt at the same time, the Jackpot is given to the hand that began first. I have to say that if this happened to me and I did not receive anything for my royal flush, I would pick a free slots download over a poker download for a while to get over my tilt.

UB is a great place to play Omaha if you don't want to play the standard Texas Holdem games. It is a good sign that you are not forced to download Full Tilt Poker if you are interested in the less common poker games. We don't want a Full Tilt and PokerStars monopoly or anything!

If you want to play tournament poker, it's a great idea to use the best Mac poker sites. You'll find plenty of great tourney players on UB, and the very best make it to the top of the leaderboards. In total there are four different leaderboards, and each one has cash prizes to be won.

Many Mac poker sites use point systems to rank their players, and UB does the same. The number of points received in a given tournament depends on the prize pool and where you finish. The site uses the same formula for all its leaderboards.

Similar to some flash Texas Holdem sites, UB has decided to have leaderboards for the week, month, and year. Your top 10 MTT results are taken into account for the weekly leaderboard, and $ 1k is awarded to the person that finishes on top. You'll need 20 good results to win the monthly leaderboard, where the total prize pool is $14k and first place is $6.5k. And then last but definitely not least, the yearly leaderboard considers your best 100 tournament finishes, just like with the PokerStars download. There is an exclusive freeroll for the top 50 players. 10th through 1st place receive cash. If you can place in 1st or 2nd, you will also win a WSOP Main Event seat!

If you feel inexperienced on US friendly poker sites, you might want to try the SnG leaderboards. This is because there are three divisions for different buy-ins. If you play $20 or lower, you belong to the Diamond division. The total weekly prize pool for Diamond is $ 1.5k while the monthly prize pool is $5,000. The Heart division is for people that play between $21 and $50. The weekly Heart prize pool is $3,000 while the monthly prize pool is $7,000. If you are prepared to discard your Lucky Ace Poker download so that you have more time on UB, you might want to try the Spade division for buy-ins higher than $51. Every week $6k is won while every month $10k is won in this division.

Placing well on leaderboards is a great way to make a tournament player more ambitious and excited to play. Maybe you should obtain some free poker training to become a stronger player. It will be worth it if you can finish in first place!

Players looking to play poker on the best Mac poker sites should consider UB, so let's talk about Adam Levy, another UB representative. You might better recognize him as 'Roothlus' since that is the username he chose to use on the best US poker sites. The 28 year old professional was born in New York but he has since moved away and now lives in Florida. He was a student working a job as a server before he started playing poker.

Levy has cashed for over $3 million on money poker sites, something most people cannot say for themselves. An extraordinary thing to know regarding Levy's online winnings is that he does not have a single win that exceeds $387.5k, yet his winnings are still well over the $3 million mark. This proves that he has been very consistent since entering the poker world. His $387,500 score was obtained by competing in an FTOPS tournament on his Fulltiltpoker download a year ago. He also won $80k on Full Tilt in the $750,000 Guaranteed. He earned his biggest PokerStars cash four years ago when he finished 3rd in the Sunday Million for $56,990.

Levy has some live cashes in casinos for USA players to be proud of, as well. His largest live cash actually came this year in the WSOP Main Event after finishing just outside the final table in 12th place. His consolation prize was $635,011 for his finish. Before this year, his largest prize in a live tournament was for $266,445 in 2008.

Levy has a pretty solid routine laid out when he plays poker. He usually gets out of bed at least an hour prior to competing on download free poker sites because going to his computer first thing after waking up isn't his style. He, like many other people, just can't start the day right until he has a shower and some breakfast. His music of choice while he is playing is, surprisingly, techno. After his day of playing on US friendly poker sites is over, he plays video games to let off some steam and just relax. Judging by his results, it would appear that Levy's schedule is working just fine for him.

If you, like many others, would like to see results like Levy%u2019s, there is no substitute for playing tons of hands and studying. It should not be overly difficult to find plenty of poker advice out there so even the most inexperienced player should make progress fairly quickly. It might be necessary to stop playing on your no download free casino sites, but you won't mind once you are rolling in the dough!

If you have the intention to play poker in online casinos for USA players but you cannot choose between a poker download and free poker no downloads, there is a chance it will help you to read about Eric Baldwin, another UB spokesperson. Despite being only 27 years old, Baldwin has a tournament resume that most players could only dream of having. He was born in Wisconsin, so he attended the University of Wisconsin and studied Psychology and Mathematics. As he plays poker on a regular basis, it makes sense that he lives in Vegas.

Baldwin certainly frequents US friendly poker sites, but since he has earned over $3 million playing live events, he is mostly known as a live tournament pro. His wins include one WSOP bracelet in 2009 in Event 34, a $ 1,500 buy-in with $521,932 for 1st place. While he didn't make any final tables this year in the WSOP, he still had some nice cashes. His largest cash was in the Main Event where he finished in 59th place for $ 138,285.

Speaking of tournaments in US poker rooms, the young player has also done well on the WPT. In late 2009 he won an event in the Five Diamond World Poker Classic for $256,660. In August 2009 he placed 3rd in a Legends of Poker event, and in 2008 he placed first in Event 2 for $148,860 in the Five Star World Classic Poker Classic. With all these live tournaments to attend, I'm sure Baldwin doesn't have much time for Bingo codes.

Being a UB representative, Baldwin also spends his time in online tournaments on download free poker sites. He claims that online games are much more aggressive preflop than live games. He tries to earn most of his chips without showdown when he plays online in contrast to live where he will attempt to see many pots multi-way and win chips that way.

Card Player named Baldwin the 2009 'Player of the Year', so he is obviously doing something right when it comes to poker. If you are new to real money poker, be sure to go through all your options. A Bwin Poker download can't be a bad option, but UB has a lot to offer as well.

Brandon Cantu is another professional player that would tell you to support online casinos for USA players by playing at UB. The 29 year old player learned to play poker from his grandpa, and then he played in casinos in Oregon. He currently lives in Las Vegas because he is close to US poker rooms there.

The decision to go pro came in 2006 in Vegas once he won over $750k for 1st place in a WSOP event. Amazingly, that was the first major tournament he ever played! Since then he has continued to do extremely well in casinos for US players. As for his WSOP results, he won a second bracelet in 2009 in Event 48, a PLO tournament, for $228,967. That year he almost won two bracelets. He had to settle for 2nd place and $400k in Event 39, a NLHE tournament. His best Main Event finish was two years ago when he was 20th for $257,334.

Cantu has also done well in the WPT. He has 3 total cashes, and one of them is a win in the Bay 101 Shooting Star championship for a cool $ 1 million. In that tournament he also busted 6 bounty players good for $5k a piece! As such, he got the nickname 'The Bounty Hunter'. It wouldn't surprise me if the six people he eliminated in that tournament wished he were into online casino gambling for a living instead!

Where live tournaments are concerned, Cantu has almost $3.5 million in cashes. He's on Team UB, though, so you'd think that he must sometimes play poker in online casino USA sites. Unlike a lot of the other players I've written about in my blog, he actually doesn't spend that much time playing on sites where you can download free poker as he's always been primarily a live player. This does not mean that he doesn't play online at all, however. He went for the obvious choice of 'brandoncantu' for his UB screen name, and he can be found playing tournaments and high stakes cash games.

If you asked Cantu how you can see better tournaments results, he would tell you to be more aggressive. If you aspire to challenge him in the WSOP one day, you definitely shouldn't download roulette. Instead, make an account at UB and start practicing your tournament game!

Welcome back to my blog! I'd like to tell you about Tiffany Michelle, another representative of UB and online casinos for USA players. Michelle has only been playing professionally for around four years, but being attractive and participating in the World Series has caused her to turn heads in the poker community. She broke the record for the largest field ever overcome by a female by finishing 17/6,844 in the WSOP Main Event back in 2008. Once she got deep in the tournament she wore a UB patch, so she's pretty much been endorsing UB since 2008. I suppose I won't bother telling her about a Bwin Poker download!

The 25 year old female player was born in Los Angeles. She attended UCLA for a theatre program, and she has been seen on a few different television programs like ER and The Amazing Race. Her resume also features song writing and a beauty pageant win. She was quick to seek further attention when she got into casinos for US players. Sirius Satellite Radio featured her as a host for WSOP coverage, and then she got a gig on camera for hosting tournaments for PokerNews.

Michelle plays tournaments of all buy-ins on UB, one of the best Mac poker sites online. While she likes bounty tournaments the best, she's also partial to deep stack events. Players that enjoy deep structures are usually cash players, too, and Michelle is no exception. Rather than play Internet slots like a large portion of other pros, she has fun experimenting in ring games at NL midstakes tables when she has free time.

It's safe to say that Michelle was in the right place at the right time when it comes to poker, but she's definitely making the most of it. Back in 2008 we spent a lot of time wondering why she elected to represent UB instead of a PokerStars bonus code, but it seems to have worked out just fine for her. It's safe to say that she will spend the next few years building up her poker resume as she uses her good looks and personality to charm the poker world.

To continue with the theme of writing about Team UB, my article will feature Joe Sebok, a poker pro that also encourages a UB referral code. If you don't recognize Sebok, you should almost certainly recognize his stepfather, Barry Greenstein. Originally from San Francisco, Sebok started playing professionally around five years ago. He has been endorsing the UB referral code since the second half of 2009.

Multi-table tournaments are Sebok's bread and butter, and he's cashed live events for a total of just below $2 million. While he's cashed in the WSOP 15 times, he's still waiting for his first bracelet. Just last year he finished 56th in the Main Event, his highest finish so far in the annual tournament. Since he's primarily a tournament player, it makes you wonder if he sometimes enters events on a Full Tilt Poker download or uses a PokerStars bonus code every so often. Since he's a UB pro, he'll definitely never disclose that information to the public!

Sebok is well known in the poker community. He created PokerRoad.com with Greenstein, a media center that offers poker-related radio, TV, and blogs. He co-hosts the PokerRoad Radio with Gavin Smith, fellow professional player and good friend. Perhaps you've heard of the Internet show 'Prop Bet' where Sebok and Smith compete against each other in random prop bets in things like kick boxing and belly slapping. The idea for the show came after Sebok lost a prop bet that forced him to wear 3 different costumes to the 2006 WSOP Main Event, including a diaper-wearing bear, Spider-Man, and Wonder Woman. His life may be strange, but it's apparent that Sebok does not always use poker downloads and live events to pay the bills.

Sebok is only in his thirties, and we can expect a lot more out of him as the years continue to roll on. He's been a pro for a mere five years, and it's definitely possible that he'll win a WSOP bracelet in the next few years. He played on internet sites when he first learned to play poker, so you should follow suit if you intend on improving yourself. I'm sure that Sebok would discourage you from a UB or Party Poker download bonus, though. He wants you to represent UB too!

Last entry I described Phil Hellmuth because he helps promote UB and the UB referral code, and today I'd like to introduce another UB representative: Annie Duke. Among the most successful lady poker pros in the world, Duke received a World Series of Poker title in 2004 in an Omaha Hi-Low tournament. You'll probably know her brother, Howard Lederer. Duke grew up with Lederer in New Hampshire, and he was the person that eventually taught her how to play poker.

Duke began representing UB and the UB referral code ten years ago back in 2000. Her poker portfolio is rather impressive, since she%u2019s won over $4 million playing live MTT poker. Her most successful finish in the WSOP Main Event was tenth place in the year 2000. To make it more impressive, she was pregnant with her third kid at the time! She has monied in the World Series an impressive 37 times for $ 1.1 million in total cashes, and she won $2 million in the WSOP Tournament of Champions back in 2004.

Duke isn't well known in the poker community just because she's a female poker player. She tutored Ben Affleck to poker success in 2004 when he won the California State Poker Championship. She was the chosen one when the Colbert Report hosted a poker player for the first time, she participated in the game show 1 vs 100 not just once but three times, and Deal or No deal hosted her once. She is also well known for participating in Celebrity Apprentice a year ago where she came second behind Joan Rivers despite raising three times more cash for her charity of choice, Refugees International. Include the fact that she's on UB's Best Damn Poker Show, and you have to wonder how she ever has time to play any poker hands.

Duke is a big advocate of US compatible casinos, and she speaks up when she thinks something is wrong. She has a huge problem with the fact that players are not free to represent poker sites on their clothes during certain televised live tournaments. In one news article regarding the topic, she is quoted as saying, 'We are not even slaves. We're people paying to pick the cotton.' Duke of course knows that she's one of a few women in her industry, but she thinks it's silly that women have their own exclusive tournaments. In her words, "Poker is one of the few sports where a woman can compete on a totally equal footing with a man, so I don't understand why there's a ladies only tournament." It doesn't come as a surprise that as a result, she passes up any opportunity to participate in women only MTTs.

Annie Duke is a good spokesperson for UB and poker as a whole. By appearing in so many different TV shows, she's encouraging people everywhere to download free poker and enjoy a truly great card game. You can join her at the tables on UB - make a UB download today!

A high profile professional poker player that would agree with using a UB referral code would be Phil Hellmuth, a UB representative that has gained and kept fame due to his World Series of Poker accomplishments and outbursts at the tables. Born July 16, 1964 in Wisconsin, Hellmuth was the first of five children and went to school at the University of Wisconsin. Today Hellmuth has two sons with his wife, Kathy, and they live together in California.

Would you be more likely to get a UB download and take advantage of a UB referral code if you knew that UB's most famous pro player holds some amazing tournament poker records? You'll be most impressed with the fact that he has earned bracelets in 11 WSOP events, winning the first one back in 1989 when he was just 24 years old. His most recent bracelet was won in 2007. He has the record for WSOP cashes with an amazing 75 and the most final tables with 41. He ranks in the top ten for total WSOP winnings with $6.1 million won so far in his career. Many people are surprised when they find out that Hellmuth has yet to win a World Poker Tour (WPT) event despite 3 final table appearances. He's cashed 11 times in WPT events which brings his total WPT winnings to $691k. His multiple successes and accomplishments allowed him to be brought into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2007.

Hellmuth first achieved attention and fame through his accomplishments in MTT poker, but people probably know him more for his major overreactions and outbursts at the poker felt. It's clear he thinks incredibly highly of himself, and nothing upsets him more than a couple bad beats. In the past he's directed his outbursts to those who benefit from his bad luck, questioning their intelligence and ability to play the game. In 2008 during WSOP he got a penalty for verbally abusing a player that showed the table he'd bluffed Hellmuth off his hand with weak suited cards. His multiple tantrums and overreactions over the years have earned him the nickname of 'The Poker Brat'.

Leave it to Hellmuth to make money off his nickname, though. He currently has a clothing and merchandise line at www.PokerBrat.com, and if you want to get into his head, you can read his thoughts in the book titled Poker Brat. He's the author of several books, actually, and he's even made DVDs and a mobile phone game. He's written several newspaper columns called 'Hand of the Week' where he details interesting poker hands that he's encountered during his career, and he also has a couple blogs online. Add all his TV appearances and coaching opportunities, and it's clear that Hellmuth is cashing in at more than just playing cards.

If you're new to online poker, you've probably heard a lot of hype regarding Full Tilt or PokerStars, but UB deserves some of the online poker spotlight, too. Join Hellmuth at the tables and earn a UB bonus if you haven't already done so. Players everywhere dream of accomplishing as much as Hellmuth has accomplished in his career, but you can't to this without plenty of practice in US poker rooms. If you'd like to see what else UB has to offer, be sure to go back to my previous entries.
